Abstract watercolour on 640gsm paper.

These small watercolour paintings come under the category of ACEO (Artists Cards Editions & Originals) which are a sellable small work of art measuring 3.5 x 2.5 inches. They are a spin off from ATC's (Artists Trading Cards) which were intended as small original pieces of art that artists could swap with each other.

These are among my smallest paintings and are ideal for mounting in a frame for display.

Most of my paintings are inspired by the South West coastal counties of England.

  • All paintings come with a signed & dated certificate of authenticity.
  • All paintings are produced with quality materials to ensure a high level of archival quality.

My painting method relies on translating images from life and memory into an abstract form to develop an idea or theme. My paintings go through multiple stages over a period of time which adds depth to the completed work.

My studio is located in Bournemouth in the South of England. My main inspiration is the coast from Dorset to Cornwall which offers dramatic seas and skies in abundance.
I’m a great believer in finding new methods and techniques through exploration and experimentation and I try to convey this in my teaching workshops and demonstrations.
