Acquired in France recently, a very elegant Parisian reading lamp, a type & style commonly used in c1900 or so, fab quality & well made, it's very substantial as well as weighty. Comprises nickel plated brass base, swan neck arm & finial, the stem is steel & base weighted. 

Swan neck arm can bee adjusted in height on the stem & the  scallop shape shade can be rotated as required to prevent glare from the bulb.

It's spotlessly clean & in original condition with no repairs or modifications. Credible signs of age & use to surfaces of the metal - see photos, all to be expected & confirming authenticity. Lamp fully rewired & UK Plug fitted.

It uses a standard bayonet B22 bulb.
