Quinx or The Ripper’s Tale by Lawrence Durrell 1st
edition
UK post & packing cost: buy two books - same postal charge as for one.
Published by Faber & Faber 1985
The book is sound with the board edges showing no obvious rubbing, knocks or bumps. The boards & spine do not display any apparent marks. The spine ends are hardly creased. The gilt lettering to the spine is very bright. Please see the attached scans.
Internally, other than a feint touch of toning to the front free endpaper towards the hinge, the endpapers & text block appear to be clean & unmarked. The page edges are lightly toned with slight spotting & flecks. There is no inscription.
The dust wrapper, not price trimmed @ £8.95, is complete, with no obvious tears, rubbing, marks, etc. The wrapper is in a removable plastic sleeve. Please see the attached scans.
With so few faults, this is a particularly nice copy of this novel by this much-admired author.
Whilst considerable attention is devoted to providing an accurate description, buyers should bear in mind the book’s age & the commensurate degree of wear & tear sustained. Consequently, some very minor faults, not otherwise detailed, are to be expected.
