This vintage mid-century Wedgewood dinner plate is made of black basalt clay and features a seashell shape with a nautilus pattern. It measures 10.25 inches in length and 10.5 inches in width, with a height of 1 inch and a weight of 1 pound and 9.4 ounces. Each artisan that works for Wedgewood is trained for a minimum of ten years. Each piece is hand crafted with clay, which is the color of the item all the way through. This means that if the plate gets chipped, the underside will be the color black. The plate is stackable and has a glossy finish, making it a decorative addition to any table setting. It was produced in the mid-20th century using art pottery techniques in the United Kingdom. I have also listed a smaller matching plate, most likely a salad plate.

Excellent condition. No wear(some minor faint scratches along the ribbed areas), flaws, odors, or damage. Stored in a smoke-free home. Quick shipper and will arrive nicely packaged. Bundling is available, and I offer tiered discounts.
