This is a vintage Wedgewood salad plate from the mid-20th century, featuring a black seashell basalt nautilus design in an art deco style. The plate is stackable and decorative, with a glossy finish and an impressed backstamp. It is handmade using clay and measures about 8.5 inches in length and 8.75 inches in width, with a height of about 0.5 inches and a weight of 13.9 ounces. The artisans at Wedgewood train for a minimum of ten years. The color of each piece is entirely through all the clay. Meaning, if the item becomes chipped, the clay is still black underneath.  The plate is an original production of the United Kingdom and is suitable for all occasions.

Excellent condition. No wear(a few faint scratches mostly on backside-barely noticeable), flaws, odors, or damage.  Stored in a smoke-free home.  Quick shipper and will arrive nicely packaged. Bundling is available, and I offer tiered discounts.
