KEY FACTS 

• This Mercedes-Benz C55 AMG Estate is a useable example of the high-performance estate car, finished in a tasteful factory colour scheme. 
• Under the bonnet is a naturally aspirated 5.5 litre V8, producing around 360bhp, driving the rear wheels through a five-speed AMG ‘Speedshift’ automatic transmission.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES 

• This W203-generation C55 AMG Estate is finished in Brilliant Silver metallic paintwork over a Black Nappa leather-trimmed cabin, accented by white contrast stitching and birds-eye maple wood inlays on the centre console and door cards. 
• It rides on a set of 18-inch twin five-spoke AMG alloy wheels, shod in all matching Avon tyres. 
• Factory-fitted equipment includes heated and electrically adjustable front seats with three-position memory, front and rear parking sensors, a tilt/slide glass roof, bi-xenon headlamps with headlamp washers, electrically folding door mirrors, cruise control, satellite navigation, a Mercedes-Benz CD changer, and dual-zone climate control. 
• This example is also fitted with the premium Harman/Kardon audio system. 
• Included is the original owner’s book pack, which sadly omits the service book, a selection of receipts, invoices and historic MOT certificates and the car’s V5C, and two sets of keys. 

CONDITION 

• The Brilliant Silver metallic paintwork is in good condition and the whole car has just had a full professional detail and polish - inside and out! It was resprayed two years ago at a cost of £2,800. It may show small stone chips. It’s also had recent age related paint repairs to keep it in tip top condition. There is a very small paint bubble which is around 1mm diameter.  Inside, there is some light wear on the driver’s seat bolsters, but no rips or anything like that (excellent for 19 years old).
• The car does have the common ‘ticking’ of the air vent flaps behind the dashboard for around 20 seconds on start-up, but this does not affect the HVAC operation. The sunroof is working correctly.  There are no warning lights showing on the dashboard.  
• The car’s last MOT test was conducted on 26 March 2024 at 89015 miles, resulting in a first-time pass. The only advisory is under trays fitted and rear suspension under sealed 

SERVICE HISTORY 

• This C55’s most recent routine maintenance was carried out on the 25th March 2024 and included full oil and filter change (same day as the mot).
• Prior to this, routine maintenance was carried out at 87,889 miles by Split Rims Garage. The work comprised of an engine oil and filter change, along with the replacement of the transmission fluid, rear differential oil, and a full renewal of the front suspension using OEM and Lemförder parts, after which the tracking was tested and set.
• Prior to this, the previous owner confirmed that the car has always been maintained during ownership, but the service history booklet and Mercedes-Benz printouts have been misplaced. 

SUMMARY 

This Mercedes-Benz C55 AMG Estate is a sophisticated yet potent cruiser, and a fine modern classic that boasts superb versatility and true ‘wolf in sheep’s clothing’ looks. An increasingly rare sight on UK roads, this recently serviced example is ready to thrill its new owner on solo drives, and prove a practical load-lugger as and when required – all with the added benefit of a raucous V8 symphony from its quad exhaust pipes.

One of the best colours by Mercedes: Silver, really good condition. Car comes with many extras; such as;

AMG sport pack, air con, good sound system option with logic 7 surround sound by harman/kardon, Central Locking, sport seats, CD player, dvd, Electric Windows, electric heated mirrors,  very desirable alloys AMG 18” diamond cut lip alloys, the folding mirrors work great…may be more but can't think of right now...

Additionally, the car comes with manuals and receipts for work done, this is good for one of these especially as there is probably a handful left in England.This motor drives like a new Mercedes AMG, very tight, no bangs, the steering is very direct, engine is very responsive and power is unbelievably good. The auto box is excellent. This is a well put together Mercedes and a very rare sight on the road, being one of the rarest AMG C-Class with only 595 produced world wide. 5.5 litre AMG V8 squeezed into a C Class body which makes it very rapid, yet subtle at the same time.

Again, the interior and everything looks good, looks really good, really clean condition. The engine is really strong, and the sound is unbelievably good!

This is a 5.5, 8 cylinder, 361bhp petrol engine of German muscle, very strong, 2 keys,  

This looks good, sounds good and again, everything works and has had a lot of money spent on it over the years to keep it such good condition. Just had 4 brand new Avon tyres, oil service and a fresh mot, ready for the new owner.

Bodywork is as above, this is an absolute beast of a car and is a massive head turner, when I had the tyres fitted today, the amount of people who could not stop talking about it was incredible! Interior is a fantastic place to be.

The sat nav disc is dated 2010.

Really is a great runner, totally un-abused good example of a really rare car on the British roads. Pulls like a train, handles very well.

Overall, this car is in good condition. The bodywork is solid and engine is great, Car drives very good. I think the best colour combination. this spec and colour is rare, the car is rare, This is a collectors car for the enthusiast but also a good everyday car.
