My asking price includes 30 days guaranty (longer is available, read..).  Offered specimen: serial B061702 with only 5295 hours. Such hours are equivalent of about 3 years' use. This scope includes TV Sync, Frequency Counter, & GPIB options. GPIB is fairly useless on analog scopes as it only carries digital info (analog scopes don't have waveform digitizers). Freq counter is useful and besides the obvious it defaults to offering enhanced resolution and accuracy of delay time readout when not tasked as freq counter. TV sync option allows one to easily trigger on a specific line and field of an NTSC, PAL, or SECAM video signal (video signals having equal amplitude V & H sync cause triggering confusion on scopes without such option).

The Tek 2465B is a well designed 4 channel analog 400MHz bandwidth portable package, made from mid-1988 to mid-1996 that would be useful for decades to come. It was so loved by users that when Tek quit making them a used one would cost the same or more as Tek's new price. Iwatsu  and LeCroy even came out with a "replacement" called the SS7840H and LA314H.

Costs only a tiny fraction of its  $12,000 new price, yet for the foreseeable future, well maintained 2465Bs (last scopes Tek made to be component level repairable) by me, will still be serving their owners well, while many newer, less repairable scopes won't.

Will be shipped to you freshly calibrated, with instructions book pdf (I'll need your email to send it; ebay doesn't give it to me), power cord, and blue face filter (only at my asking price)... READY TO USE !.

Please be sure to indicate to me if you plan to use it in a 230V country.

2nd photo shows 5295 hours of use and 540 power cycles. 3rd & 4th photo show difference between standard scope measuring a 20KHz signal and the added resolution and accuracy of having option 9. 5th and 6th photos show the bandwidth capability by having a 6MHz and a 490MHz signal at 2.5Vpp, the higher being the 3dB  loss point defining upper BW. 7th shows result of asking scope to auto-measure volts on a 2Vpp 1KHz signal. 8th shows risetime capability of 1nS. 9th shows an NTSC VIR signal on line #19. 10th shows the first full line of an NTSC color bar signal   11th photo shows a scope on top of calibration sources needed to cal/verify such a scope; sellers who don't have such equipment are going out on a limb when they claim their scope functions correctly. 12th shows a 400MHz P6134C or P6137 probe you may want to buy from me first to then save 10% (and maybe the tax) on the scope.

I choose to work on 2400s because they were the last repairable (to component level) scopes Tek made. 2400s are my specialty, so mine shall arrive working correctly, whether you're buying just 1 or several to outfit an entire lab or classroom. Others sell them because they need fixing, whether their sellers know it or not, I sell them after I've fixed them... and that is reflected in my higher prices (can't expect those selling for less to have had the 30 year old Li battery/NVRAM or any other failing parts replaced).

Please make sure Ebay has your current correct ship-to address before paying, as that is where I am required to ship. Mistakes are costly to fix after paying as I cannot offer cash refunds, so please go over details before paying.  I ship worldwide. Ebay requires I ship with a carrier that provides tracking & delivery confirmation, which Airmail cannot provide internationally, so that rules Airmail out. FEDEX usually offers me the best alternatives.

Please do not offer me less than my asking price (I have some listed for less but with higher hours).  I don't like pay cuts and Ebay already keeps 14% of what you send. Offering less does not incentivize my best effort on your behalf, and understand that if you offer less, you may get less (say a 2465B with higher hours).  I'd prefer you offer more to get more... such as... you can offer $100 more to get 6 MONTHS GUARANTY (my parts & labor, your shipping) though I realize for some of you far away, round trips to secure service could get expensive, which is why I leave the choice up to you. By the way, if you are offered a 3rd party (Allstate?) guaranty extension at checkout, you should ignore it - I have no idea how they operate or if they are qualified to work on 2465Bs. You can also offer $150 for a good used P6137 or $240 for an unused P6134C 400MHz probe. If Ebay stops you from offering more, I will still sell you what you want, and for 10% less (and less or no tax) once I know you.

Ebay as a large e-commerce site, now has to collect sales tax for many of the 50 States. I have no control over that, and I do not charge sales tax on my own out-of-California sales (I am small). If you are outside California and do not feel like paying the tax, buy some/any/thing cheap(er) from me first (eg: a probe) and a workaround will present itself. Also,  I cannot offer cash refunds (but only store credit) because of differing definitions of "full refund" between Ebay and its payment platforms. One considers full refund to be all you paid; the other considers full refund to be return of all I got. The difference is the fees, shipping, and sales tax that I never see, and I can't "go into the hole" for you to return more than what I got. Also money coming into a small business gets spent almost as soon as it lands in. Please buy prudently/ask questions first.

DISCOUNT on subsequent items: I will offer you a 13% DISCOUNT on next purchases. If you want the 13% discount on this item (you should), buy any cheaper item from me first (eg: a top pouch, a front cover, or even a spare fuse). This should also save you the state sales tax on the scope if you're outside my state (California; thus saving you closer to 18%). Once you buy a cheaper item first, let me know which scope you want and I'll enable the discount for you. Also, any cheaper first purchase allows us to exchange phone  #s for live dialog and email which I can use to send you the op book, specs,...

If you are outside USA, shipping by public Airmail is not available since it does not satisfy Ebay tracking and delivery confirmation requirements. We can use DHL, FEDEX, or UPS (Fedex usually gives me lowest rates). Also some foreign Ebay sites may skip some or all of my items, or add taxes that may be higher than they need to be, so it's best to look on US ebay.com regardless of where in the world you are. If you don't see shipping to your country, you can ask me for flying cost to your address.

LOCAL PICKUP INCENTIVE: if you come to me to pick up the scope, I will add a Tek scope cart FREE (carts are impractical to ship).

CHEAPER ALTERNATIVES: I have 2465Bs with higher hours listed for $920, and 2465As at $690.

HURRY INCENTIVE: if you pay my asking price today, I will add a Tek 10:1 400MHz probe.
