Vintage IN MAGAZINE from 1966 featuring a full-length article on the red-hot MERRY MARVEL MARCHING SOCIETY (MMMS) Fan Club.  Multi-page spread features an in-depth article on each of the Marvel Superheroes in 1966 - Spiderman, Hulk, Fantastic Four, Giant Man, Daredevil, Thor, Avengers, X-Men, Human Torch and more!  Written by a late teen or 20-something that really gets the attraction of the Marvel Universe, written by Stan Lee in 1966.  Focusing on problems, quarrels, and issues with being a superhero, the author is clearly targeting the college campus crown and mentions that rock bands like the Byrds, Lovin Spoonful, Weird Beard etc also follow Marvel heroes.

The best part? All new artwork for this article, originally created and drawn for this spread, featuring the Marvel Superheroes in their own rock band appearing on the ED SULLIVAN SHOW, using all the vernacular of the day.  Even Ed Sullivan says "Nuff said!" as they debate rock and roll band names such as Spidey and Garfunkel, etc.

Title of the article is THE MERRY MARVEL MARCHING SOCIETY WANTS YOU!   Very unusual and super-rare item relating to the dawn of the Silver Age and Marvel comic-dom.
