This particular book is from 1983 and for any Vintage computer enthusiast especially those with a ZX 81 there’s a project inside just for you to control your train set via the described controller with instructions how to make it.

Or for audiophiles in need of a remote control or even a DIY burglar alarm for the car (though I’d likely stick to the manufacturers fitted one in the first instance!)

I have to say the level of details is quite high and the schematics quite complex and not for the beginner however all details on how to build these projects are within the pages of the book.
