Really nice, without box, well detailed; of Vince Mayell's 1957 Chevrolet Corvette racer #222 in 1/18 scale by Bburago. This fuel injected race car is a one off tribute to Vince's, Harry Mann Chevrolet Corvette.   Vince successfully raced against the best of California's 1950/60/70 road racers, including Carroll Shelby, Dan Gurney, Bob Bondurant, Dick Guldstrand, Dave McDonald, Ken Miles, and a host of others.  He finished 2nd to Bondurant at Palm Springs, 1st at Riverside, 3rd at Pomona; all in 1960.  During 1959 & 1960 Vince entered 28 events, winning 7, with 6 seconds and 2 3rds.  This classy turquoise /white coves with cream "leather" interior is a"Special Edition (Diamonds?)" version.  This is a must for the Chevy, Corvette and/or California road racing fanFYI--color & number shown on Racing Sports Car photo website, Pomona January 2, 1959; and black & white photo in Michael Antonick's California Screaming (Corvette racing SoCal) trailing Bob Bondurant's #51 at DelMar.

It is not mint, though no obvious flaws;  without box, and displays very well (although we have not).  These Bburago collectible die casts compare favorably with the high end collectibles ( Exoto, BBR, CMC, GMP, Autoart, etc.) in most of the detail; but may not match the pure accuracy.  This is a one off custom racer tribute features stock style racing wheels & tires, roll bar, driver's seat belt, cut-down windscreen, and "taped over" headlights.

We are collectors, not retailers, value these collectibles highly; and will pack very carefully for shipment from our smoke and pet free home.
