This is the center card of that set (#2 of 3) which has the title "Fallen Angel" at the top of all 3 cards together, and you can see some of the letters of the title of that Trio on the top corners of the card ("N" of Fallen and the "A" of Angel).
The title of the card is "Demon Xena" from the episode "Fallen Angel" when Xena as an angel storms Hell to save Gabrielle who was trapped there by maurading demons! When she is able to hand Gabrielle off to an angel for saving, she sees the pain in the soul of Demon Callisto and compassionately touches her heart, sharing her light, liberating her from Hell. But, as the light went out of Xena into Callisto, she becomes a demon herself until an all out battle between heaven and hell which she instigates! To see what happened, Watch the Episode!
The card is a well-detailed pencil sketch, hand drawn by this well known and acclaimed artist and signed in black ink within the drawing area, not on the line provided for artists to sign.
From the 2004 Rittenhouse Archives "Art and Images of Xena Warrior Princess" trading card collection. It was pulled from the pack, but still had a tiny ding on one corner and slight indentation of the card under the "A" in the top right hand corner but I would still classify it as Near Mint but wrote Excellent just to err on the side of caution. All can be clearly seen in the above photo which can be enlarged.
This is a Very Rare and Hard to Find card!
This was one of about 18 basic designs drawn by this artist (some color and most pencil sketches), there were only 11 artists for the series and he did a total of 900 sketches out of 8,000 total in all of the produced cases so 11.25% of the sketches which was awesome as this is a famous and prolific Artist and, I believe, the only one from this collection which has signed Xena promo cards at conventions (which you can sometimes spot on eBay).
