This tinplate clockwork car dates to around the 1950’s and was made by the toy company JNF in Germany during US occupation. It comes in unboxed and good condition with some play wear so please refer to the photographs and description before bidding. The car has working steering and a clockwork mechanism with a speed selector similar to Schuco toys of the same period. The clockwork mechanism does not wind up and looking through the wheel arches the front mechanism looks complete but the rear clockwork motor looks to be missing a couple of gears. The car measures approximately 190mm long by 95mm wide.
