BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE 19th CENTURY QI’ING DYNASTY CHINESE EMBROIDERED SILK SKIRT!


Up for the auction is a breathtakingly beautiful embroidered purse made out of Chinese embroidered silk (most likely 2 embroidered silk sleeve bands from a lady’s robe) dated approx late 19th century Qi’ing dynasty. The material the purse was sewn out of is much older than the piece itself.

The embroidery features beautiful loose flowers and flowers in vases plus Buddhist auspicious symbols. 

The frame of the purse has small semi- precious stones (see pictures)- outstanding craftsmanship!

The purse measures 7” (17.8 cm) x 5” (12.7 cm).
