Working and sounding glorious!  Best mated with a big amp.

This is rare and sought after Bang & Olufsen Beovox S45-2 Speaker pair with covers. These speakers are great and are a legendary audiophile vintage speaker made in Denmark.  They are made of rosewood with a metal trim edge for durability.

These speakers have the original connector socket, however, they have been upgraded with a standard spring connector that can take bare wire or banana plugs! The original connector is a design flaw that did not take into account what thin wire does to audio signal. A propriety socket is a terrible idea. So these are now able to be run with modern speaker connectors!  Installed by an audiophile and electrical engineer. Note - Either connector will work: old or new.

On both speakers there is minor damage to the grill cloth, as shown in picture. Also on top of one speaker there is a water ring stain. On one speaker one of the 6 pegs that hold the grill on has broken. The peg is still in the grill, see photo. 

These speakers have a history and went with kids to college. If only I had such nice speakers in college.
