Airmaster Model 6378-D is a stunning table-top cabinet that boasts a grand
grille pattern & a beautiful tri-colored translucent black dial with great
Art Deco appeal. Coupled with a modern day Bluetooth stereo sound performance
that cannot be topped! This piece is the perfect blend of timeless
elegance and vintage charm, with warm contemporary sound!
CABINET: This rare Airmaster Walnut cabinet has gorgeous wood grains that carry throughout the entire
set. Featuring: A
solid wood top with curved sides and a wide wrap-around grille pattern, it all
comes together with dark walnut tones & grooved wrap-around black pinstripe
inlays. Completed in a rich Smoked Dark Golden Oak Finish!

FACEPLATE,
DIAL & KNOBS: The original brass oval escutcheon faceplate has
been hand-rubbed bringing it back to its original luster, leaving in just the
right amount of patina. The black oval Airmaster back-lit dial is
extremely attractive featuring the company namesake with a three ring numerical
design in a trio of colors of gold, ivory & green with a Art Deco graphic
design with the standard, foreign, police & amateur broadcasts, accented by
a unique vintage brass humpback razor pointer. The grooved cylinder knobs are
in a unique lay out pattern and have been refinished in high gloss black.
GRILLE
CLOTH: This Hunter Forest Green shale textured grille cloth is the
perfect replacement for this piece, adding just the right touch of color that
compliments the dial. This fabric is available for purchase in our Ebay store
with additional color options.
ILLUMINATION: Both the dial
& the grille cloth illuminate beautifully with options of colors &
fades, operated by remote or touch for a full warm golden glow.
INSIDE
THE CABINET: This cabinet has three LED disk lights each
powered by three AA batteries. The cabinet interior is lined with the highest
grade of black felt. Creating a clean, warm, and sound new environment to
ensure optimal acoustics. The removable Bluetooth stereo speaker resides within
a beautiful Padauk wood enclosure.
LENS: This radio has the
original glass dial lens.

SHIPPING: We take great care in
our shipping process. First we wrap your radio in a silky-poly
fabric. We then double bubble-wrap the cabinet and use ample packing
materials to ensure its stability & safety. The Bluetooth speaker
comes with the cabinet in its own new box. We use brand new boxes and charge a
flat rate of $28.75 regardless of your location within the lower 48
states. We ship within 2-3 business days after the sale has been
completed. All of our shipments are insured. (For
WARRANTY: Your radio cabinet
comes with a two-year warranty and is covered for any type of product
default to the cabinet, dial, knobs, or grille cloth.
This warranty does not cover the Bluetooth speaker. Buyer

CONCEPT & GOAL: We Are Art Deco
Sound! Our concept & goal is to unite two Eras. The Art Deco
Design Era combined with the current Modern Day Sound Era invention of the
Bluetooth speaker.
The
Art-Deco Design Era was one of the most bold and stylistic design concepts
ever and still is! Even with today’s emphasis on technology and
smart devices, there is a sense of comfort and warmth in identifying back to a
simpler yet more sophisticated time. The Art Deco design
was implemented into wood radio cabinets in the 1930s & 40s.
Due to several
of our custom Dial installation techniques that we have developed allows us to
replace the old chassis with an actual Bluetooth stereo speaker with the
addition of LED lighting. Therefore creating the concept of pairing these two
together! Vintage cabinetry with modern day high-technology stereo sound!
By
accommodating these historical Art Deco cabinets with the invention of the
Bluetooth speaker is quite the experience. You can now actually See and
Hear these precious Art Deco cabinets come alive once again with proper modern
day stereo sound!
Over
nearly the past 100 years the concept of Art Deco design occurred and
electronic inventions evolved. The Art Deco design movement was the
causation of these cabinets. Current day electronics of a supreme quality

We feel if
Bluetooth speakers existed almost a century ago they would have been the stock

unfortunate that the art of replacing tubes, capacitors, resisters, filters
etc. on the original tube chassis does not allow the strength required to
capture, decode and then transmit any quality audible sound, signal or
consistent frequency that drives radio communications of today. Therefore,
we have selected a brand new, removable, 40-Watt Bogasing M5 Bluetooth Stereo
Speaker in replace of the traditional tube chassis. This results with an
outstanding maximum full stereo audio performance! You now can enjoy AM/FM
nationwide and international live radio station apps, podcasts, Sirius Radio,

W/ Modern Stereo Sound Replacement!
RESTORATION
PROCESS: (Cabinet & Audio) We appreciate and
understand the desire to keep the interior and exterior of these Art Deco
radios stock. However, we feel the fine cabinetry is clearly the focal
point of all vintage Art Deco radios. Throughout our restoration process we are
conscience of preserving the natural wood elements and that the design
features remain intact. The cabinet goes through an extensive
revitalization process to preserve and retain the craftsmanship of these
uniquely designed American historic artifacts.
Using a
multi-step sanding process, we carefully remove, by hand, all of the old layers
of stain and/or other unnatural elements that have encased the precious woods
as well as all repairs needed for these masterpieces. Once the cabinet
reaches the bare wood stage, a custom blend of modern day stains and toners are
used to bring back and highlight the natural wood grains. The cabinet is
then treated with a series of high-gloss, clear coat lacquer
applications. The action of wet sanding between each clear coat
application, along with a final hand-glazing, ensure a mirror like luster &
shine to the cabinet.
We strive
to bring these cabinets back to life looking the way we feel they should have
or could have looked. By using modern day stains and toner color options that
did not exist in the past enables us to brighten and highlight the wood grains
like never before! This results in making these Radio cabinets look better than
they ever did!
We also
feel these cabinets deserve a replacement from an Audio aspect as
well. By adding a modern day Bluetooth stereo speaker breathes new
life into these unique pieces! We do not feel this compromise's the
piece but rather enhances the experience as a whole, both from a visual and
audio perspective. It is truly an amazing experience to See & actually Hear
these amazing pieces come ALIVE ONCE AGAIN! The radio is truly smiling
and saying thank you for its rejuvenation!
