You are bidding on TWO nice examples of David Shaner Studio Pottery.  Shaner collectors will know his work well, so no need to give his extensive history.  This is a CLASSIC form, with Iconic woodfired glaze and one with matte Black on the outside.  He was the first director of the Archie Bray After Peter Voulkos/ Rudy Autio and After Ken Ferguson.

   

Each measures approximately, 9 inches Tall, 3 1/2 inches deep, and 4.25 inches at the widest. it's pressed ovoid in shape and has a nice signature as well
