This A330 MRTT, known as Voyager KC2 in the UK, is operated by the Royal Air Force as VIP transport for the British Royal Family, the Prime Minister and other senior government officials. After being repainted from the standard military gray to a more British-typical livery in 2020, the aircraft was given the call sign "Vespina". It is equipped with special communication and self-defense systems and has 58 business class seats and 100 standard economy class seats. While the aircraft is equipped for high-ranking state and government officials, it continues to fulfill its military purpose of aerial refueling using the underwing hose containers as well as transporting cargo and (military) personnel.
