Very nice, well detailed of 1954 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing road sports/GT car in 1/18 scale (see photos).  This 1954 Bbuargo model represent the Mercedes street/road version of '52 winner, driven by Herman Lang and Fritz Riess.  Mercedes did not return to defend this win until the disaster in 1955, when their 300SLR roadster crashed into the grandstand, killing 83, injuring 120.  Mercedes Benz withdrew from racing until re-entering as an engine supplier to Sauber F1 team in 1994.

While model is very nice, does have some nicks (on each door roof panel).  The Gull-wing 300SL easily commands $1MM+ at classic car auctions, as it is one of, if not the most desirable Mercedes classic car.  A true "must have" for the Mercedes, sports/GT car enthusiast.
