These vintage bookends appear to be made of solid oak wood and feature carvings of sailing clipper ships, fitting a nautical theme and style. The dark brown, dark stained, bookends stand at just shy of 7 inches tall and have old, felt glued on the bottoms. The bookends are original and have a unique design that would make them a great addition to your den or library or as a decorative piece in any room. They weigh 3 lbs 4 ozs before packing and will definitely hold your books steady. Only thing to note is that they are both quite dusty in the recesses and one surface scrape on the side of one, easily concealed with Old English. I’ve had these for years and it’s time to let them go. Found in a NC 2nd hand store.
