The Opal is a North and South and quite large at 17mm long by 14mm wide by 5mm thick. In all, the ring is a substantial scale at just over 3/4" knuckle to knuckle. It is a very well made, very strong and worthy ring.

CLASSIFICATION: classified as white base but really, expands into the semi-black category for it holds WAY more than it's fair share of colorful fire. The main hue is a simmering salmon pink with gold, lavender, blue and green fire. The opal is inclusion free and boasts no dark spots or flaws.

Set in solid sterling silver 925 with a slightly raised table and 'built for comfort' band that engages the frame of the opal and gently tapers down in the back of the hand for perfect comfort.  An eagle in an oxidized relief feels smooth as silk like a well-worn buffalo head nickel, with every edge rounded and accommodating.
