Up for auction is a Genuine US Military Cold Weather Shirt, (Shirt, Cold Weather, Synthetic Fiber Pile). This type of shirt was developed as part of the US Military's Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS) system. It has a very warm, thick synthetic fibre pile lining, (except in the armpits), designed to be worn close to the skin to retain body heat, and is therefore quite a snug fit.

Features include:

Thick and warm fibre pile lining, (except in the armpits).
Full length front zip fastening.
High collar.
Two hook/loop fastened flap upper front pockets.
Two lower side 'handwarmer' pockets.
Reinforced shoulders, underarm and lower sleeve areas.

Label Size is: SMALL Chest 33 to 37 inches. Please see the actual very approximate measurements below and compare these with a similar item that fits you well.

Armpit to armpit: 20.0 inches, (51 cms).

Sleeve, (armpit to end of cuff): 22.0 inches, (56 cms).

Length, (maximum), collar seam to lower hem at rear: 26.0 inches, (66 cms).

It is quite rare to find these in the UK, now, especially in new condition. Prices for these in the US are surprisingly high.
