This beautiful bronze sculpture by Mark Hopkins titled "Fastball" depicts a young boy winding up to throw a Fastball. The artist's attention to detail is visible in the intricate rendering of the boy's expressions and his equipment. Fastball is part of the sculptor's "Kid's Play" collection.  The sculpture was created in 1989 and is signed by the artist.  This is a Limited Edition #325/2500.

Measuring 7" tall and 6" in length with a width of 3", this Americana-style statue is a perfect addition to any art collection. The sculpture features a bronze casting production technique and is regionally made in the United States. 

This piece is a unique representation of children and infants with a theme of playfulness, sure to bring joy to any viewer.  This is another piece that belonged to my late brother.
