Product description:
- In China, this
style of knife is called TAO which means SWORD. It is different from
conventional kitchen knives in that the blade is thicker and wider and is
capable of cutting large items (such as meat, chicken, etc.) to chopping
and cutting of vegetables.
- The design prioritizes comfort,
efficiency, and enduring razor-sharpness, offering everyday chefs ultimate
precision and performance in the kitchen.
- High-Quality
Stainless Steel is the perfect choice for everyday use of any chef whether
in a home or professional setting. With an HRC of 50-53 it will take an
angled edge and hold it for long enough to help extend the life of your
knife (with general maintenance).
- Handle is crafted from Poplar
wood, adding beauty and
comfort to the knife user's experience.
A Japanese chopping knife is a must-have for
any kitchen or makes a useful gift for family and friends.

Tips for care and use:
- To maintain the wooden handle's
longevity, regular maintenance with oils, waxes, or conditioners is
recommended. Before oiling, ensure the knife handle is clean and dry by
using a moist cloth. Apply a couple of drops of your chosen treatment,
typically enough to be rubbed in with just your fingertip. It's crucial to
generate some heat while rubbing to aid in breaking down any present waxes
and to facilitate absorption into the wood fibers;
- Before using the knife for the
first time, wash it with dishwashing detergent;
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners
when washing.
