antique and vintage Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Easter holiday memorabilia,
paper ephemera, antique dolls and toys and fine jewelry. We are also given the
honor of selling fine and rare pieces for other collectors.
Over the next several weeks, I will be listing more incredible pieces from some
of our hobby’s most well-respected and knowledgeable collectors. I am
celebrating more than 20 years of sharing wonderful treasures on eBay!
This ultra-charming piece of NEVER USED antique Hallowe'en ephemera is a never
folded candy container or nut cup with a place for the name of the partygoer as
well. This is a decoration for the table and a party favor, and it features Jack
o' Lanterns, black cats, and mice or rats.
Produced by the Whitney Company in the 1920s, this cup is a feast for the eyes.
The intricate black illustrations against the bright background are
eye-catching for sure.
In its present unfolded state, this diecut cup measures 5” high X 3 3/8” wide.

condition is PRISTINE, DEAD MINT, and NEVER USED.
This is a PURRRfectly wonderful example of the creativity and attention to
detail when decorating for a Hallowe'en party during the Golden Age of
Hallowe'en – the 1920s and 1930s. It is hard to imagine that this decoration is
approximately one hundred years old. It would be an ideal acquisition for those
in search of rare holiday items in the very best condition.
