A good antique solid sterling silver jardiniere from the start of the Edwardian period. A bowl shape crowned with a frilly pattern and standing on three scroll feet. Hallmarked to the side for 1902, Sheffield, William Hutton & Sons. Total silver weight is 300g.

The jardiniere stands approx 13.5cm tall and 14.5cm across the mouth. The bowl is approx 9cm tall excluding the feet and crown frills.

Condition: The silver is tarnished and could do with a good clean. The shape is not deformed. I can feel one small shallow dent on the side. The feet are not twisted. The hallmarks are clear. Holding to the light I can see a couple of pin holes at the side where the feet are attached. No holes in the bottom. Internal evidence of water use.
