A really beautiful pair of made to measure genuine vintage cotton velvet curtains in excellent used condition. Fully lined in 100% cotton and weighted.
Dense heavy velvet, wonderfully light reflective. 
These are super wide and came from a large bay. They will span about 3 metres as pair - detailed measurements below. 
Photos are good by eye and they are lovely goldy orange. RAL colours to compare and paint chart is Farrow & Ball.

The colour does shift depending on the light. The darker photos are more accurate, especially against the white linging,  but if in very bright light the colour does change to less orangy and more old gold - so all the photos are accurate.

I have three sets in total - two eactly the same  size (lot 2 and 3) and one longer and narrower (Lot 1) 
I can combine postage costs where weight allows. If you want all three sets I can do a 10% reduction on the overall price. 

Generally in excellent condition. The face velvet is wonderful, just one mark near the hem that i could see. See last photo photos. If these were dry cleaned they would be pristine. 
There is fading on one edge of each -photos to show both edges of both curtains. 
The linings are sound but have some age related foxing - again photo to show example. 

These have pinch pleat header tape with pinch pleat hooks that create the pleats. The width is not exactly fixed though as the hooks can be used to make as many of few pleats as needed. Measurements are given with the current width. 

The dimensions above are for EACH curtain in the pair. Below are the measurements in inches and in centimetres. 
Please note that these are pinch pleated using pinch pleat hooks. 

Width: 115 in (292cm) each at the hem and 58 inches (147cm) at the top as they are currently gathered. So as a pair they would span up to 116inches (294cm) 
Drop : 58 inches (147cm)

I try to measure accurately but sometimes room for minor error so let me know if more precision needed. 

Postage costs includes insurance for the full amount to cover for any loss or damage in transit. The insurance costs are often greater than the actual postage costs. Collection in person is always welcome.

Buying second hand or vintage curtains means that there may be some small/superficial marks but once hung no one will notice. If I find anything major I will point it out in the listing and provide one or more pictures of the 'issues'.
