For sale: Vintage Linhof Tripod Camera Fluid Head. This is the head itself without the tripod. I can't say too much about it, as tripods are not really my subject.



Visual condition:

Visually, the head has numerous scratches on the paint, visible dirt, you can see that it was used. The plastic parts are yellowed. The emblem with the company logo an the front of the head is missing. It will certainly require restoration work to restore its former appearance.


Technical condition:

Technically the head works. In terms of movement: left-right it works very lightly and smoothly. In the range: up-down there is a stronger resistance felt. I tried to adjust this resistance with the large knob, however, it seems to me that it is bit too strong. It will probably need some cleaning. The spirit level is preserved intact, not shattered. Due to the lack of the rest of the tripod, the general condition of the item, I am selling as inoperative, for parts, for restoration.
