I service professionally any vintage lens.

This is something I do in my spare time ,  for many years, no matter of make and model.

I do this because of my passion for photography, for vintage lenses , and so you guys can enjoy a vintage glass on it's full potential, without having to worry about the issues that a 40/60/70  years old lens has without being serviced.

This listing is for the famous Minolta MD 35-70mm f3.5 Macro . The oprical design of this lens was bought  by Leica and re branded "Vario Elmar".

The lens has been fully serviced (I never service a lens partially ) , completely disassembled, every little part has been cleaned, washed,  re lubricated. The washing process , with detergents, not only helps for a nice and clean look of the barrel, getting all the dust out, but it also eliminates the risk of any fungal traces/spores may exist on the parts.

The biggest issue this Minoltas have is the old thin grease used by the manufacturer, usually leaking oil and leaving oil vapours on the inner elements.

Mechanically the lens is is fully working order since it has received a full overhaul.

Smooth focusing action, I use a home made grease designed for camera lenses,  which I found to be the best available on the market after testing many other industry dedicated greases during the years. This grease is made by one of our eBay members "red-vision" and is available here on ebay.

The Aperture ring clicks nicely and precise, clean and dry Aperture blades, since the whole system has been washed.

Optically the lens is in mint condition as you can see in the photos.

No scratches, no haze, obviously no fungus .

The lens is tested and performs beautiful as it should.

The optics were also exposed to UV-C light as an extra measure to eliminate any fungus spores .

The lens comes in Minolta MD mount, easily adaptable  on digital camera via the correct adapter.

Sold with front and rear caps.
