This "frosty Yellow" HotWheels version of the Corgi Mould was the top of the range with the engine painted in 4 colours, the Windscreen surround, nose logo and highlights in Silver, fat Whitewalls when it was released in 1997 as part of the Target "Motorin' Music" set.

Model is mint, it was displayed in smoke free home in dust proof cabinet out of direct sunlight.

In 1996 Mattel bought the Corgi brand, and used many of the Corgi Junior Moulds to refresh their 1:64 range.
The 1957 Ford Thunderbird Mould used by Corgi since 1980 had the opening bonnet released by a push button in the base plate that had been modified to show the HotWheels Logo. Various variations were released with differing interior colours, differing depictions of the Engine and varied levels of detailing. Mattel ceased production in 1998 when they started using the Matchbox Mould following that acquisition.
