1961 Gibson Les Paul Standard SG Cherry Red Electric Guitar w/ Case & PAFs

This is a vintage 1961 Gibson Les Paul Standard SG electric guitar, in Cherry Red.

It weighs 7 lbs 4 oz, 24.75" scale, 1.68" nut width.

The serial is 33920.

An incredible vintage grade example!

This is the legendary guitar that so many guitar hero's have rocked the world with.

The lightweight mahogany body / mahogany neck gives us incredible natural resonance, amazing tone transfer, and incredible mid-range crunch.

Grabbing up all this wonderful tone are a pair of PAF humbuckers, and WOW do they scream. Every vintage tone is right at your fingertips. They read 7.22k and 8.85k

It's in good playing vintage condition, especially considering it's age.

Just setup - the neck is straight, and the frets are clean. There are examples of finish checking, marks, dents, finish chips, dings, scratches, and chunks throughout the body, edges, and some knicks on the neck.

Ok now to what is NOT original to this guitar - the case, the knobs, and the pots.

The PAFs are correct for this year, but not original to this particular guitar.
