This item is a Nikon F Photomic FTN SLR 35mm film camera body.  This camera works properly, including the meter, shutter, self timer, film advance, etc.  It is in fair cosmetic condition.  There is paint worn off the film compartment back and the edges of the prism/meter housing.   There is also some engraving on the top plate under the shutter speed dial.  It comes with a set of batteries (not new).
