Based on Music Man's popular AXIS model, the Axis Super Sport features a 5-way selector, vintage tremolo, and tone control.
The Axis Super Sport features a figured maple top/basswood back, asymmetrically shaped figured maple neck, rose fingerboard, 25-1/2" (64.8 cm) scale/10" (25.4 cm)R/ 1-5/8" (41.3 mm) nut, and custom wound DiMaggio PU, It is equipped with a 5-way selector including parallel wiring, a vintage tremolo and Schaller locking pegs.
This model combines well-balanced form and playability with a wide variety of sound variations.
Jack has been replaced, strap pins have been changed to Schaller type (no hardware on the strap side), and there are some signs of use (dents on the side of the head and around the body, scratches on the outer edge, paint on the binding of the cutaway on the first string side is peeling, scratches and scuffs, picking marks, buckle marks, metal parts are cloudy, bits and rust, (metal parts are cloudy, bits, rust, etc.).
The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, rubbing, and deburring) upon arrival, the fret board is high enough to play, and the truss rod can be adjusted to ±60 degrees.
