Vintage Art Deco 1930’s Flycatcher light shade

Hanging glass bowl ceiling light shades became popular during the 1920s through to the 1950s. They earned the name ‘Flycatcher’ for obvious reasons. This one is from the 1930’s.

Flycatchers come alive when lit. The patterns are unique and no two are identical.

This one is original and has been used, showing normal signs of wear and tear. There are no cracks or chips. The original chains and fixings are still attached and in great condition.

This light would be a great find for house restoration, interior design projects, and even film sets.
