Our T2LT's have 2 MHz bandwidth without the need of a tuner (if not more)
ALL these T2LT's in this listing have 200mm (approximate) of coax from the coil, terminated with a PL259 (unless otherwise stated)
SWR curve generally 2:1 > 1:5 or less < 2:1
Get these as high as possible and clear of metallic objects.
Recommended 12 Pole for HF band- especially for 20 Meter band!
HF Bands.
To change the point of resonance higher towards / into the CB band for instance, then simple carefully cut around the coil heat shrink, 1 coil down from the top and one coil up from the bottom, then remove those pieces of heat shrink (As a guide use some masking tape and create two circles around the coil.
Once you have done this you can feed cable into the coil from the top part (top being the looped end) spin the coil to make it tight and tidy and pull the coax back out the end of the coil. No need to cut anything else. If you move it around 30mm at a time using a simple SWR meter you can check its point of resonance I.E, Channel 20 CB - Frequency 27.79125 MHz for instance.
So by doing this the antenna will no longer be usable from 26.000 MHz, this frequency will increase, as will the end frequency.
A good test would be to test the SWR on Channel 1 CB 27.60125 MHz and Channel 40 CB 27.99125 MHz
