This Vintage Dawe Instruments Type 1400G Sound Level Meter is a portable device that measures sound levels using ultrasonic technology. Seems to be working, in good condition,no cracks to the case, some lettering has rubbed off.

Uses a C type battery (not supplied, due to postal restrictions)

I have switched this on and the gauge works, when it hears a sound, but I’m no expert on these things.
