Built as a stage prop for a local comedy show, it was "flown" over the auditorium suspended on a wire system. It would make a splendid static display model for a restaurant, museum etc or just an unusual decorative item in a suitable home. 

The design is an imagination of something an Edwardian engineer with a steampunk ethic could have built. The model was used as part of the shows finale. 

 Built over a period of about 6 weeks using a combination of traditional aeromodeling techniques augmented with some 3D printed components, this is truly a "one off" item designed and built by a highly experienced model builder.

 Features include working cabin lights, navigation lights, and a spotlight. The propeller turns too! These are powered by a single internal rechargeable (18650) lithium battery. A detachable suspension cradle is also included. Note the stand shown in some of the photographs is not included in the sale.  The model is approximately 5 months old and in very good "as built" condition.
