This is a 1973 Raleigh RRA "Raleigh Record Ace" in a 56mm frame size, seat-tube measurement center to center. Serial number H1804. Built in the Carlton shop. It has not been reconditioned or repainted, only new handlebar tape, brake hoods and cables have been replaced. Everything is original, decals included, except for the wheels and pedals. This model Raleigh was made for only one year and is very unique. Sheldon Brown created a webpage of information dedicated to this model with a list of parts that came with this bicycle. The page is listed below. From what I can surmise this bicycle was hardly ridden and certainly was never left outside. There are a few marks and nicks here and there but considering the age of this bicycle the paint is in overall excellent condition.
