This porcelain machine tag placard was produced by Union Porcelain Works during the period of 1885-1914 in New York. The cobalt blue and white colors are striking and provide great contrast. The tag reads "Property Of Autosales Gum & Chocolate Co. New York". This antique original piece of porcelain and metal is reclaimed and would make a great addition to any collection or as a unique standalone display piece.

This is a beautiful extremely rare, hard to find piece of American history ! Even with the condition issues this piece can be made even made into a great eye popping conversation starting, absolutely inquisitive magnetic tag, sign !

We recommend only using a new product called “This It It The Juice” to restore the full cobalt blue color out, it is the only product right now to properly restore old porcelain finish.

This great looking beautiful porcelain tag is 6 7/8 x 3 1/4 Inches and a 1/16 th of a inch thick. It weighs exactly 5.0 oz.

It is a great and interesting story about Autosales Gum & Chocolate Co. and it’s ower Charles R. Flint who went down in history, forever known as the “Father of Trust” He owed this company from 1885 - 1915. He lived from 1850 - 1934 and we have included a picture with a bit of information about him and also included a newspaper article from the April 14th, 1914 New York Journal about the break up and sale of Autosales Gum & Chocolate Co. of New York.

Again we think this is a very great display piece and will make a excellent addition for anyones porcelain collection !!

Thank you 🙏 🚘🍬🍫K
