A charming antique ladies' vanity/manicure set with shoe button hooks, in red and gold case with deep red velvet lining.
Some of the tools have bone handles, and the smaller tools have a mother of pearl type of handle. This might be two sets that have been merged into the one case over the years, I'm not sure.
3 hooks, 3 pointed tools, a file, a nail buffer, and one handle which is missing its tool.
The case is dusty inside after many many years in storage. I have given it a preliminary clean with a paint brush, but it would benefit from more detailed cleaning.
There is some wear to the outer finish of the case and the lock is missing its closure. See close up photos for details.
There is some tarnish to the metal of the tools. The file has a small crack in the bone handle on one side.
