Extremely rare Citizen vintage automatic mens watch.

Dated July 1974

8050 21 jewel 28,800 bph automatic/handwinding/hacking movement

This is a vintage watch but I have serviced it (movement fully disassembled, all parts cleaned, oiled and reassembled) and refurbished it. It is now in superb condition.

The watch  now running beautifully to well within +/- 20 seconds per day

The sunburst mint green dial is in immaculate condition.

New, single dome sapphire crystal has been fitted.

New case gasket has been fitted

Fitted with the original Citizen bracelet which has also been polished. Also included is a new, good quality brown leather strap with quick release spring bars.

The hacking feature that stops the second hand  when setting the time works perfectly.

The quick set day/date also works perfectly, as does the change at midnight.

Case diameter - 37mm

Case thickness - 11mm (Inc. crystal)

Lug to lug - 41mm

Lug width - 18mm

For reference the watch is pictured as worn on my 7" wrist.

The watch has not been water pressure tested so would be prudent to take it off before jumping in the shower/ bath.

Note - A great deal of time and effort is invested in refurbishing the watches I sell. There may be cheaper examples on eBay but the price I ask is a more than fair reflection of the work undertaken and the subsequent quality of the product. Read the reviews 🙂
