Fabulous original 1940s wedding dress in its original box. Really glamorous example from back in the day.

Features long sleeves with with fabric covered buttons, lace embroidery / detailing, amazing

Original metal zip at the side (original metal zips just stunning to me, I don’t know why!) . Stunning dress.

Made from heavy satin material in ivory and the workmanship and quality are great.

Condition: great, absolutely fab; the dress

has yellowed a little as is expected for a dress in 70 years old. Could do with a new popper for the bow at the back.

Would benefit from professional cleaning as it's been in storage but nothing takes away from the beauty of this wonderful historic gown…and you’ll be confident in the knowledge that nobody else will have this dress!

The original veil and headdress are included as well as the wedding album-dated 1950. The veil has a few holes in it, but would look fantastic anyway, and has a wonderful embroidered motif. I love this dress that will be perfect for the bride that appreciates eco friendly choices in recycling, and knows she’ll be the only person she knows with a unique dress like this.
