This WWI trench watch head (no strap) comes with a Swiss movement and solid 925 sterling silver case. The case is hallmarked on the inside as 925 grade silver with a date letter of “u” and a makers mark which look like the initials GS. It comes in good used cosmetic condition with no dents although the case could do with a good clean. The watch does not work as the movement is missing one of the winding gears although the hands can still be adjusted using the crown. As this is a used item there is wear to the case and crystal plus paint loss to the numbers on the face (no cracks on face) so please refer to the photographs provided for condition before bidding. The watch head measures approximately 35mm across including the crown, 32mm without the crown and 37.8mm from top to bottom lug.
