I'm selling some of my collection. This is a very scarce .303 Charger Loading Lee Enfield rear sight as approved on 1st July 1908.  It was a conversion from the Lee Enfield rifles Marks 1 and 1* and Lee Metford Mark II* fitted with Enfield barrel. Many of these were used by our Territorial Regiments in the trenches in 1914-1915.  If you've got any of these rifles that need to be upgraded with a windage adjustable sight - look no further. This sight has been adjusted to cope with MkVII ammunition as indicated by the "2" stamped on the underneath of the slide. The right hand knob locks the sight bar to the sight ladder and the other offers graduated windage adjustment with clicks - all in all a far better system than the earlier sights. Everything works as it should. The opportunity to obtain one of these scarce sights does not often come about. Please see my other auctions for a Lyman tang mounted aperture sight. Despatched with Royal Mail - Special Delivery in the UK is £7.95. Will post elsewhere in the World - Europe £12 and USA will be £13.50.
