Here is another RARE, one of a kind, vintage Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche shoulder bag made of brown suede. Best photo for color accuracy is the first and last two. It features an argyle/diamond pattern, brassy color - what I call grommet and studded accents.
The bag is small to medium-sized and has a retro, hippie, punk, steampunk, 80s, 90s, and hip hop theme. It was made in France and is new without tags.
Comes directly out of a YSL executives estate who was involved in production and samples. This may have been a sample piece but has the finished product look.
Sold as is, not perfect. Might have slight scuff marks on the suede, the handle straps are stiff - I would suggest taking it to shoe repair shop or dry cleaner and have them Condition the suede to soften it. The purse body itself is not stiff. The bottom of the purse has a piece inside under the lining that makes a crunchy sound - but it doesnt bother me because the suede is fine. But if you are bothered by the crunchy sound, just have it removed. The sound is mostly if you mess with it. If I was wearing it and walking - it is fine. Hope that makes sense. This has no closure, and an inside zippered pocket.
Again, this is from decades ago and is unused BUT is not perfect due to age. If you want perfect, this is not for you. This makes a great installation/ inspirational prototype.
