Up for sale is an Antique Transfer Sevres Style Portrait Plate made in Austria. Circa 1873-1891

The plate features a gorgeous transfer portrait of a woman named Le Miromis on a black background, The portrait also features hand painted accents with red, white, and pink flowers. The border of the plate has a dark burgundy color with an ornate floral gold gilt pattern around the outer and inner borders. The plate is also signed "J. Hacker", the artist that did the transfer and hand painted accents  THE RED COLOR AROUND THE BORDER IS DARKER IN PERSON THAN IT APPEARS IN THE PHOTOS.

The base has 3 marks. There is a mark of the woman's name "Le Miromis" as well as an Austrian Sevres style imitation mark as well as a mark with two crossed hatchets and a crown, This mark had been covered by another mark that I cannot identify. The mark with the crossed hatchets and crown was used by Fischer & Mieg and Oepiag and Epiag Pirkenhammer from 1873-1891.

There is a spiderweb of 6 hairline cracks on the base and there is wear to the paint/decoration on the plate as seen in the photos. Otherwise the plate is in good condition and still displays beautifully.

Measurements are approximately:
1" Tall to Rim.
9 5/8" Rim Diameter.
6" Base Diameter.

This is an antique item and may have small manufacturers imperfections which do not affect the display of the piece.
