Promotional item sent out in the UK by Island Records to promote The Best Of 1980-1990.

From my understanding this item was promoted via competition in UK and one of only 150 released. 


I am currently downsizing and unfortunately there will be no space in the new house for my record collection. 

I will be listing approximately 1300 titles over the coming days/weeks.

Original U2 Promo Olive Green Army Helmet with "U2" printed in gold on the front.  

Josua tree logo with 1980-1990 printed in gold on rear of helmet

Please note each of these helmets came with "scuffing" to provide a look of an authentic helmet - this is not a fault or damage, and the other helmets listed I can see worldwide each have their own scuff marks for this authenticity.

Original Wooden crate with metal trim contains all the original straw packing and has "U2" and the album logo stencilled in black.

This promo item is the perfect addition to any music collection - 

We had it displayed with the The of Collection 1980-1990 7" Vinyl Box Set - which will be listed shortly to add the piece de resistance to any avid vinyl connoisseurs collection.

Only handled and opened once to take out helmet and display
