Up for sale is an Antique Silk Tapestry of an Elk and its Calves in a Forest, made in Belgium or somewhere in Europe. Circa 1920s.
The tapestry features an elk in a forest with its calves in the background in red and brown/beige colors with a nice pattern of leaves around the border and tassels on the top and bottom edges. The tapestry is unmarked but was likely made in Belgium or another country in Europe.
There is minor wear and fading to the color of the tapestry from age and use and there are hand applied ribbons to the top and bottom of the back of the tapestry for hanging the piece with rods. Overall the piece is in good condition and still displays beautifully. The tapestry will ship folded in a box and will not be rolled.

80" Tall x 49" Wide with Tassels.
76.5" Tall x 49" Wide without Tassels.
This is an antique item and may have small manufacturers imperfections which do not affect the display of the piece.
