Up for sale is a Hand Painted Nippon Porcelain Humidor Jar made in Japan. Circa 1890s-1910s.

The jar features a nice Dark Brown to White hue with dark brown beads just under the brims. There is a hand painted Red and Gold pipe with smoke trailing from it on one side with a single dice painted on the opposite side, the dice shows the numbers 1, 3, and 5. The base has a green printed underglaze mark that reads "Hand Painted / Nippon" around a "M". This mark was likely used in the 1890s-1910s.

The lid is missing and there is a long hairline crack that goes from te rim, through the smoke and ends halfway through the pipe. Otherwise the piece is in good condition and still displays nicely.

Measurements are approximately:
4 11/16" Tall.
4 1/4" Brim & Base Diameter.

This is an antique item and may have small manufacturers imperfections which do not affect the display of the piece.
