I purchased this Sony TC-WE475 cassette deck new old stock (NOS). It was a display model that had been sitting in a display case but never powered up. As it was unused and had been sitting since manufacture, the belts had perished. I replaced them with new DeckTech belts which are the best quality belts on the market in my opinion. I have checked the electronic components and all are well within spec. I then performed a full calibration using the Sony factory calibration tapes and everything is spot on, the only thing I had to tweak was the speed. The cassette deck performs exceptionally well exactly as you would expect from a cassette deck that has never been used.

It comes in the original box with the original manual. It can be controlled by a Sony system remote control but this is not included, the cassette deck never included one as the remote typically came supplied with the matching amplifier. Unfortunately the RCA leads are not present but I will include some if you require them, please drop me a message after purchase. Overall this is probably the finest example of a silver TC-WE475 you're ever likely to find, and having been refurbished should play tapes happily for the next couple of decades at least without any issues.
