Vintage 1977 Seiko 7025-8099 Automatic Divers Watch aka "Poor Man's 62 MAS"

This watch is often referred to as the "Poor Man's 62 MAS" (Seiko's legendary dive watch). While there are some similarities, the watch has its own charms and can stand on its own merits. The black dial is clear and the lume on the applied indices and hands still glows after all these years.

The watch has has not been polished and does shows wear on the case, bezel and bracelet that is commensurate with its age (over 46 year old). The beveled acrylic crystal is free of any scratches as it was recently replaced. The original bracelet still has most if not all its links and will fit wrists of ~ 20 cm.

Mechanically, the watch is in full working order having had a full service in November 2023 (unworn since) and generally in very good condition given it age. The bi-directional friction fit rotating bezel is on the looser side and can get knocked out of position in normal wear, so not one to use when timing your pizzas let alone go diving with!
